Why we started
India does not have a shortage of good founders. It has a shortage of good rooms.
Almost everything that decides whether a company thrives or struggles comes down to who its founders happened to know, and when. A warning that arrived early enough. An investor who understood the sector before the meeting started. A professional who had seen the same clause go wrong before. None of that sits in a database. All of it sits in somebody’s phone – and whose phone you are in should not depend on which city you were born in or which college you attended.

A community
Founders, investors, mentors and professionals, in rooms we convene ourselves – research and education sessions, meetups and events across India.
We are not
Investment bankers
We do not raise capital, we do not broker deals, and we take no part in investment transactions. We never stand between an investor and a founder.
We are not
An aggregator or a marketplace
Nobody is listed here and nobody is inventory. There is no matching engine, and nobody pays for access to anybody else.
Respect, in both directions
Most of the ecosystem picks a side. We think that is the mistake.
What it costs to build
We understand the sacrifice, the resilience and the sheer stubbornness a founder needs. Years of risk, usually taken quietly, usually without a safety net.
What good capital brings
We also know that an experienced investor arrives with judgement, networks and hard-won pattern recognition long before they arrive with money – and that this is worth as much.
Both perspectives carry equal weight here. That is what lets a partnership rest on trust rather than on a transaction.
